What inspired some of the panels on this page? Because that kid isn't drinking soda and those frogs have been gigged (look it up). Well, besides missing the days when stories about adolescent boys could still depict realistic rebellions like sneaking beers, smoking and cursing (though there is no cursing in this all-ages comic!) This scenario was totally inspired by stories my dad would tell of his youth living in the hollers (look it up) of eastern KY...kids staying up late, in the middle of the woods, wasting time together.
